dd1 is 7, and i gave her this film to watch yesterday. she loves it. its full of magic, fairy tales, and is a very sweet film.

Is that the one where Sara's daddy ends up loosing his memory and she has to be a servant til he remembers? (roughly!) If so, the book is fab too.

Dd has a cd and the book but not the film. TBH I get really annoyed reading that book and so does dd. Miss Minchin, or whatever her name is, is SUCH a cow. Dd always gets so irate on behalf of Sara that we've shelved that story actually!
