My friend is desperate to take my dd to see Beauty and the Beast. I have my reservations. I'm worried that it will be too frightening for her (the Beast, the castle, the bit with the wolves etc) and she'll start crying and want to leave. Can anyone who has seen the film tell me whether this film is suitable for such a young child?

My 4 year old loved it, my 8 year old found it a little scary and cried at a bit (but she cries at every film including Lego Batman).

As for Satyr its just the way they have done the legs and horns its hardly like they have really done that its just the way they have computer generated the beast

Just to add, my dd is very soppy and cried at Trolls when Bridget was sad, she gets upset when others are upset.
However there was no tears at this one and she loved it :)
