Best movie I've seen in ages, went to see this with my DD and we both loved it. I suspect it could be one of those 'marmite' films but I'll definitely go and see it again and will probably buy the DVD when it comes out too

I thought it was very average. Not bad, not great.
The big twist was visible very early on.

All the reviews I've read have said it's dire and gaslights/abuses the main character.

One review said that the only reasonable explanation for Smith/Winslet/Norton/Knightley and Mirren appearing in that movie is that their families must have been kidnapped and held to ransom by the production company for the past year.

VeryBitchyRestingFace, don't - the review you've noted is quite accurate. I fell asleep, and didn't feel like I had to go and see it again.

It was horrible, horrible, horrible.
It felt very wrong for most of the time. Protect me from my friends... etc.

Just watched this. Crap. Properly crap. Shame as I love HM.
