I just realised there is no review about this film. Has anyone seen it?

Omg the combination of Hugh Jackman and Will Kemp is almost too much for me to cope with.

Even aside from that I thought it was pretty good fun. Anyone else?

Sorry but I hated it!

We went to see it while we were holiday in the States, even though Shrek 2 was showing at the same time... (Dh "didn't think it was fair to the kids" for us to see it first!!!!!!!). When we came out we had a bit of a spat about having to sit through that cr*p when we could have seen Shrek instead!

I hated the mixture of all the stories/legends (I'm afraid I'm a bit pedantic) & DH hated what he called the "buffyfication" of the lead girl- I think we both agreed it would have been a much better film without her character in it at all!

Big thumbs down from me

Oh I agree about Kate Beckinsale, she irritated me a lot, but as films go I have seen a lot worse (Love Actually, Bruce Almighty...). Lovely young men and lots of action are always good imo

Opposite view here I'm afraid! I went to see it and I loved it (big fan of HJ though!)

I was a bit taken back by all the jokey bits, I did expect it to be a lot 'darker' than it was, but once I got over that I really enjoyed it.

What's wrong with 'buffyfying' things anyway? I must say I thought KB was in it primarily to show a bit of T & A, but fairs fair I was having fun ogling Hugh It would have been nice if she didn't have to be rescued so much.

Will be getting it on DVD when it comes out.

I want to see it but haven't had time I like the idea of messing around and mixing up the legends although I'm a fan of all the old B&W films too. Don't get Hugh Jackman though, seems rather ordinary.

Davros, how could you ! It also has Will Kemp in it tho, which is like a dream come true for me . Double whammy of heaven.

Looks a bit of alright lou33! My radar extends mostly to anyone who appears in Heat!!

lou33 · 21/06/2004 14:13

The combination of him and HJ in a film together ia almost too much to bear

Don't start me drooling at Hugh this early! That bit near the end, almost naked, sweaty, angry, fighting dracula....... and the way he holds KB at the end, swoon.
