SAw this film today.
Mr De Caprio was excellent in the lead role - sexy but not in a cute way.
Film about the smuggling of diamonds out of worn torn Sierria Leonne and the human price.
Any one else seen it?

saw it this evening, I nearly walked out at the beginning as I was so shocked and upset with whatI saw. But I stayed and alhtough I cried through lots of it and his my eyes from the screen it is a film thathas motivated me to be a better person. Everyone sat in silence for a minute or two when it had finished, you could feel the shock and emotion in the room.

Saw it a few days ago - made me realise that Leonardo di Caprio is actually a very good actor. Shocking subject matter but not done in a sentimental way - I really enjoyed it. And on a shallow note I always thought that physically Leonardo was a little boy whereas this film proves that he is in fact a big man - swoon swoon.

Yes leo quite surprised me actally, I nearly didn;t go and see it as he was in it but you do forget that it is him.

I felt quite sick at the start of the film as well , twinset. It was very powerful.

Yeah it is good but the accent he puts on is funny -

I really "enjoyed" it - I enjoy thinking war torn African films.

he sounded exactly like a sa guy i know, i thought it was a pretty good accent

Hmmm did not think he sounded like the SA guy I worked with - other than he calls everyone "brew" too

think this is a brilliant film, and in fairness DiCaprio was amazing in it (I normally cant stand him)

We watched this on Sky the other night - I thought it was an incredible film, so moving and thought-provoking.

It reminded me of Schindler's List in a way, opening your eyes to the horror of a situation. The child soldiers just made me so sad, knowing that still goes on in so many African countries.

And Leonardo was great; he has really developed as an actor. I also thought he was fantastic in The Departed

It is a very good film, well put together.

Leo was great-he was brill in The Departed too ( i am a Leo fan!).....lots of good actors in the departed i thought.
