I really enjoy Hot Fuzz for some reason and have watched it probably 10 times, and still would watch it right now!

OP posts:

Vertigo
Rear Window
The Birds
Marnie
Notorious
North by Northwest
Strangers on a Train

Can't believe there's been very little Hitchcock so thought I should make up for that Grin

Also,
Die Hard
The Usual Suspects
Reservoir Dogs
Inception
Shutter Island
Copland
Goodfellas
The Godfather (1 & 2)
Batman Begins (actually all 3 of the Christopher Nolan Batman movies)
Lawrence of Arabia
The Dam Busters
Ghandi
Bridge on the River Kwai
A Passage to India
Some like it Hot
Rebecca (should be in the Hitchcock section!)
Gattaca
Blade Runner
Terminator
Alien
Star Wars original trilogy
Raiders of the Lost Ark
All the Harry Potter's

I've recently introduced DS (8 years old) to the wonder that is Hitchcock and we watched Rear Window together. He enjoyed it and we've discussed it since. Very happy moment for me and I'm looking forward to watching the others with him as he gets older Smile

KurriKurri · 21/07/2016 20:02

All the Fred and Ginger films but especially Top Hat.

Bringing up Baby and The Philadelphia Story with Cary Grant and Katherine Hepburn.

Anything with Laurel and Hardy, anything with Buster Keaton.

Most of the Hitchcock films.
Most of the Ealing Comedies.

DoctorTwo · 21/07/2016 20:26

The Producers. Zero Mostel and Gene Wilder were perfect.
Blazing Saddles. Funniest film ever made.
Midnight Cowboy. First film I cried at.
Shaun of the Dead. I laughed more in the first two minutes of this than most other comedies put together.

Bambambini · 21/07/2016 20:26

The Mist and Se7en? People can watch these films over and over? Well made and thought provoking, perhaps but really bloody depressing and disturbing.

Christine88 · 21/07/2016 20:27

Mean girls!

MistressMerryWeather · 21/07/2016 20:32

War of the Roses is one I never get sick of.

Michael Douglas and Kathleen Turner slowly driving each other insane.

Brilliant! :o

BadToTheBone · 21/07/2016 20:35

The Bourne movies, staggering how many times I've seen them. Apoplectic with excitement for next week.

Dirty Harry, can pretty much recite the whole movie.
Thunderbolt & Lightfoot.
Two Mules for Sister Sarah.
A young Clint Eastwood, phwoar.

It's rare I watch a movie twice, but those are so tempting.

TheWoollybacksWife · 21/07/2016 20:39

Rebecca
North by Northwest
The Birds
Dial M for Murder
The Lady Vanishes
A Matter of Life and Death
The Bishop's Wife
All the Harry Potter films
Love Actually
The two Sherlock Holmes films with Robert Downey Jnr and Jude Law

EnthusiasmDisturbed · 21/07/2016 20:39

Another vote for Goodfellas (I have a foof and I love it) its the best gangster film ever

When Harry Met Sally
Chinatown
Some Like It Hot
E.T.
Shawshank Redemption
One Flew Over The Cuckoos's Nest
The Ladykillers (original)

EnthusiasmDisturbed · 21/07/2016 20:43

The Talented Mr Ripley
Midnight Run

MistressMerryWeather · 21/07/2016 20:48

Oh yes, Goodfellas here too.

I may have to watch that again tonight now.

NoPowerInTheVerseCanStopMe · 21/07/2016 20:51

Star Wars original trilogy
Withnail & I

But my absolute fave is Master and Commander: the Far Side of the World. I could get to the end then go straight back and watch the whole thing again.

TheEagle · 21/07/2016 20:52

You to Towering Inferno
A Room With a View
