Just love a musical. DD2 and I just back from Rhyl where we watched Joseph.

I have tickets booked for Cats, Rocky Horror, Joseph (again, somewhere else) and Chicago - which I've never seen yet.

I'm obsessed with musicals. I've seen Les Mis 21 times, in three different countries.

Whenever I go to London or New York, I generally go to a musical every night, sometimes a matinee and evening show if possible.

My parents took me to my first musical when I was five, and DS at 4 saw his first a few months ago (Cats) and has spent the last four months singing it. Everytime we get in the car it's 'Mummy, put on the Jelly cats." Hopefully I will have a musical companion in him :)

Phantom is my ultimate favourite. I finally saw it on Broadway in 2013 and I had to restrain myself from running on stage and singing along Grin

I also love Chicago, Wicked, Les Mis and (although it's just a movie, not a production) the Nightmare Before Christmas.

I've never really been a fan of musicals but DD recently twisted my arm to take her to see Matilda and Billy Elliot and I had the time of my life.
Could someone explain Book of Mormon to me? I want to go and see something else and it seems to get good reviews.

Buddy was the first musical I saw in the west end and I loved it.

I love Wicked (didn't expect to enjoy it, but have since seen it in London, Glasgow and New York), Matilda, and The Lion King (Circle of Life made me cry).

I used to love Les Mis and Phantom, I had all the songs memorised (and in the case of Phantom, the dialogue too!) in primary school, but I find them a wee bit dated now, particularly Phantom.
