Why does Samuel L. Jackson never get a snog?

Just watched Snakes on a Plane (very hokey and far fetched but, as a hard core disaster movie aficionado - and disaster movie is what it is - I really enjoyed it) and it made me think...why does the blessed Samuel J never get a snog? Julianna Margulies (Hathaway from ER) fancied him lots - but no snogging.

Now I love Samuel L. Jackson and he is one of the..possibly the coolest actor on screen, and very attractive and, although no spring chicken, is no older than plenty of other leading men who do get snogs...and (top and bottom of it) I'd snog him so...why not?

Is it really still that black actors can't be romantic leads thing? Very unimaginative, if so.

Trapped in our downstairs bathroom with only Todays Golfer for company, I read their article a round for ten pound. He appears to be moooooooooooooooody, which makes him slightly less yummy.
