Cinderella is dd's favourite story / film. Just wondering if the new 2015 version is suitable for a 6 yr old? Thanks.

Absolutely.
There are some bits where the sisters are horrid and the prince is shooting a deer but my DS was not bothered age 4. When her mum then dad dies, it is very sad but not scary.

Just sit tight and hug if needed. The pumpkin transformation is wonderful.

Brilliant thanks. It passed me by somehow when it came out and I keep seeing loads of merchandising so had a look on Amazon.

My 5 year old DD and I watched it, and LOVED it!!! Scenes that are upsetting are definitely when her parents die. I was in floods of tears a little emotional, and so was DD, so we just had a lovely hug and carried on crying together!

Lovely girly film, Lily James is perfect as Cinderella. Enjoy! x

My 4yr old loved it and still does. I did prep her about the parents dying bits however, which might have been difficult without some discussion upfront.
