The Visit - total madness!

Anyone seen it? I'm still not quite sure what I watched last night!

Am I the only person daft enough to go and see it?

Having seen the trailers, I cannot imagine what made you think it would be a good idea?

Is it awful?

I thought it looked good and I love his films. I've read one review and it said it was awful, but they said that about The Happening and I thought that was great.

So tell us about it, I dnt mind spoilers...

It's not awful so much as confusing. ??I sort of want to see it again! ??Bits of it were hilarious and bits were terrifying.

The trailer looks terrifying. No way would I climb in an oven though, regardless of whose it was or where it was!

Hilarious as in intentionally? do think there are some very funny moments in his films, work so well as they are so unexpected.

Yes definitely hilarious intentionally. It's quite clever with hindsight but at the time I was waiting for it to turn from comedy to 'proper' horror. ??Dh and I came out both saying 'that was weird' but really enjoyed it

So does it turn to horror? The trailer certainly looks like that's the aim...
