omg i howled what a weirdly beautiful awful film it was :(

breaking THE Waves, i think breaking waves is a surfing movie

heart breaking indeed. I sobbed during it.

was reading that helen b carter was originally cast, can't really see her in the role.

emily watson was perfect, i just can't get it out of my head!

It was hideously depressing and bleak, but I agree that it was very powerful. I couldn't watch it again.

Although now I'm picturing Emily Watson surfing off to a Beach Boys soundtrack and I'm much more cheered

Have you seen Oranges And Sunshine? She's excellent in that too. Very moving drama about the forced child migrant programme to Australia. She plays a social worker helping a man piece together what happened to him.

i just stumbled upon this film. i will read that tomorrow theygot but i dunno i sometimes just like to enjoy a film and take away my own interpretation of it.

The movie stayed with me, I saw it when we still went to 'video' stores!

My initial was one of deep discomfort when I saw it. I was left wondering what he was trying to say and couldn't get away from the religious parallels (greater love hath no man etc.)

Oh I loved it. Don't think I could watch it again though.

Likewise, I saw it when it first came out but I couldn't watch it again.

If you are a keen gamer and a fan of Hitman series, you'd watch it to see the REAL agent47 in there
