movies on dvd that will look good upscaled

what's 'upscaled' mean? is that like showing it on a feck off big telly?

I've already trawled the entire internet looking..geeks are only interested in the equipment not what to watch

upscaled means a dvd which player which makes your current dvds look like a near quality to hd if you have an hd telly (not necessarily a huge telly)

but there is some debate as to the merits of a budget upscaler as the decent tvs should already have upscaling and so is it necessary to do it again or instead, however we have found that the new dvd player budget price upscaler is a big improvement..I think it varies according to the resolution of the tv and interlacing

the Anchor Bay 2 disc edition of Dario Argento's seminal horror classic 'Suspiria'......utterly amazing in geekvision....(but then, most of us forked out on the 3 disc tin!)
