I saw this on Saturday, and it's fabulously grim - bad language, graphic sex, poverty, isery. My kind of film.

fab wasn't it, came across it by chance

didn't realise director was the woman from no73 (the kids tv show).

kept you guessing right until the end what his crime was. very sad.

also glad i don't live in glasgow

What's wrong with Glasgow?

We have a lot of lovely parts too. I'm outside of Glasgow now, though not far. If dp was willing I'd move back in an instant.

great film. the bit with the baby's clothes was almost unbearably painful. it definitely is a harsh area, and she captured it really well.

Yes very grim film, but haunting and the bit with the baby clothes makes me teary, especially now I have dd.

I went to see it by chance with a friend who had some free tickets, not knowing what to expect. It was during the last days of Ramadan, when Muslims like me are meant to be extra good, so I felt a bit guilty during the uber graphic parts. {blush]

Oh my, Goth, yes it is a bit erm... real, but you weren't to know so I wouldn't feel guilty - your intentions weren't evil! I went to see it with my gay bf and he sat with his face in his hands during the sex scene - was all too much for him!
