It is pretty wonderful. I was amazed to discover recently that it is my 85yo DF's favourite film!

Whale Rider gets me too.

Not sure I've seen Whale Rider, is it from NZ? Perhaps I have, a long time ago. Will take a look.

Also Short Term 12 here and The Railway Man with Colin Firth, for both a tearful mess.
