Did anyone watch the televised version of this children“s novel by David Walliams that was shown on British TV over Christmas?

Would it be suitable to show to my class of 12 year olds? (Sorry for being lazy, I thought this would be faster than watching it myself and also would welcome your opinions on it. Thanks.)

it was great. my 7 year old is still watching it, as we recorded it.

I watched it with 9 year old DS, it was brilliant. Avid book reader DS didn't comment on it not being like the book so it must have been true to the storyline!

Yes, it's fine. My 6yo loved it. The only thing to be aware of is that it contains a marriage breakdown which could be upsetting for kids whose parents had a difficult separation.

I watched it with my 12 year old. He really enjoyed it.

My two 9 and 7 both loved it. Nothing even vaguely inappropriate (apart from a bit of bad acting by one of the child actors)
