Nope.

"'I'm wax, she's polyurethane, but somehow it works!"

Or something else?

Nerf · 10/01/2015 21:31

Although I did feel her impression of him ran dangerously close to playground nastiness about people with learning difficulties, just a bit odd.

Something else. Although I was silently crying Blush as RW gave his little speech about being ready.

Guard and La? Weird.

AwfulBeryl · 10/01/2015 21:40

I cried when rw did his final scene Sad mind you as we walked out we over heard lots of other people saying they were too.

I don't know then, who ?

Nerf · 10/01/2015 21:54

Calamitously has it! Just way too much towards weird.

AwfulBeryl · 10/01/2015 22:15

What was the beasiality thing ?

spookyskeleton · 10/01/2015 22:19

Are you thinking about when Larry and Dexter kiss??

CalamitouslyWrong · 10/01/2015 22:25

Tbh, I haven't seen it. But the guardian review was sulk of talk of beasiality so I guessed that must be what the thread was about.

AwfulBeryl · 10/01/2015 22:30

I can't remember anything about that ? Unless it was when I popped to the loo.

AwfulBeryl · 10/01/2015 22:31

Nooooooooo, not the Larry and Dexter kiss. I though that was lovely.

spookyskeleton · 10/01/2015 22:35

nerf are you going to come back and tell us which bit as, other than the Larry and Dexter moment, I cannot think of anything else Hmm

AuntieStella · 10/01/2015 22:37

It was a bit 'WTF' as they closed in (audible 'eurgh' in the cinema), but it was OK in the end. Definitely too brief for tongues. DD disappointed no slapping (as in 1st film). She thought it should have been 1 slap, 1 kiss; not 2 kisses.

AwfulBeryl · 10/01/2015 22:38

Did people early think it was creepy, I really found it touching and I cried. I was crying anyway, but it made me cry some more.
I didn't think it was strange at all, but then I do kiss my cat goodbye when I go to work.

badRoly · 10/01/2015 22:45

I cried at it Blush, RW set me off...

I didn't think there was anything in the kisses. They were saying goodbye, nothing sexual.

Nerf · 10/01/2015 22:47

Lots of small children going eurgh?? and really really weird how attached he was to that monkey - not even a kiss on the cheek for the others or a handshake. Creepy!

OP posts:
AwfulBeryl · 10/01/2015 22:49

Oh, well no small children were going eurgh when we went to see it. If anything there might have been a few ahhhhhs Grin

Nerf · 10/01/2015 23:08

Oh that's nice. To be fair three of the children were mine. Maybe it's the lips thing? Like if you kiss your kids on the lips you wouldn't think 'weird' and if you don't you might?

OP posts:
TendonQueen · 10/01/2015 23:13

Went to see it with 3 kids and none of them did more than laugh at it in the moment. I think you're worrying excessively.

Nerf · 10/01/2015 23:20

I'm not worrying - I thought it was weird, that's all. Might Google some reviews to make myself feel less alone!
