Loved it. But what's actually going on? Anyone any theories?

Ooh, I loved it, but it was so damn scary. I can't even look at the cover now. I bought it for dp and he has to watch it in secret while I am out. It freaks the living daylights out of me.

Why Franny? Is it the rabbit guy?
I thought it was one of the best films I've ever seen, but I couldn't actually tell you what it was about. There's loads of websites about it but they are confusing too!

loved the scene near the end with Mad World playing when you saw them all individually - Dr Carter, Frank etc. It was just so good, I just WISH I knew what it was all about!

watch the directors cut, it makes alot more sense

on oct 2, when donnie avoids the jet engine, a tangent universe was created by the jet engine ripping through time/space. when a tangent universe is created it is not steady and will cave in within about 3 weeks of being created, destroying the primary middlesex and tangent middlesex. donnie's mission is to stop this. most of the answers to this movie are in "the philosophy of time travel" by roberta sparrow. donnie is the chosen one and everybody in the end when "mad world" is playing are the people who led him to his destiny.

he doesen't quite. after another session of hypnotherapy with Dr. Thurmon, she tells donnie that his pills are placebos, because there is nothing wrong with donnie, at all.

Best thing about the film is Killing Moon!!!

I love this film Everytime I see it it makes a little more sense (I think )
