I saw this over the weekend.

...Superb! ..I think the parts were all acted very well. although I will say I was at times shocked at how graphic some of the crime scene stuff was, especially given the victims were children and its only a 15.

its a film thats really stuck with me, I was only 3 when the original crime happened so it's all new in a way.

I've read nothing but bad reviews of this film (and cant bear RW) so will probably give it a miss.

If you have a strong stomach there is a brilliant documentary called Paradise Lost about this case. It is harrowing viewing to say the least but incredibly interesting.

Yeah I've read a lot of 'why was this made' which I get , its been well covered in the past

I think its a good mainstream primer so to speak for people who weren't old enough to take it in the first time round.

Yeah it's incredibly difficult to watch .

It remained etched on my brain for weeks after watching. I couldn't stop thinking about it.

I'm surprised they got away with that tbh, didn't the families say something?

It reminds me of when blackfish came out and ppl asked the director what made you decide not to show dawn's death and she was like the families will have to live with that forever.

The bloody guitar soundtrack is hard to listen over too.
