Love Actually, for the wooden dick van dyke school of acting (barring Liam Neeson and Bill Nighy), and for the unforgiveable use of the word "spaz" in it.

discordia · 26/03/2004 20:57

Watched 2 bad movies recently (both rented by H who has no taste) : Charlies Angels 2 and Johnny English. CA2 was funnier. Best film this year: Finding Nemo - v funny.

PCPlum · 26/03/2004 21:09

Marthamoo - There are some things that even RF can't save!

spacemonkey · 26/03/2004 21:36

Independence Day (and any other film which descends into Gawd Bless America schmaltz)

lou33 · 26/03/2004 21:37

Bruce Almighty. Biggest load of rubbish.

OP posts:
tallulah · 26/03/2004 21:37

Eyes Wide Shut. We sat in the cinema thinking "something's got to happen in a minute". It didn't.

That was the one time I didn't mind the people next to us talking- their conversation was a damn sight more interesting than the film.

lou33 · 26/03/2004 21:37

ooh hello sm!

Janh · 26/03/2004 21:38

JJ · 26/03/2004 21:38

We have Eyes Wide Shut. I keep meaning to see the whole thing through. I want to be interested....

JJ · 26/03/2004 21:41

My son wants to see God Almighty, but it's only because he's so into God at the moment. My mom is the influence. Someone shoot me. We're working on it.

WideWebWitch · 27/03/2004 07:42

Agree with most of the films here. Didn't like Lost in Translation, Eyes wide shut, Vanilla Sky, Love Actually, Solaris, Finding bloody Nemo, Identity (switched off after 10 mins - I too thought John Cusack could do no wrong, apparently not), American Beauty (no, you're not the only one who didn't like it) and Moulin Rouge (gave up after 15 mins, really irritating IMO)

bossykate · 27/03/2004 09:41

the usual suspects - i know everyone else in the world thinks it is the d's b**s.

bossykate · 27/03/2004 09:42

ooh, sorry, that was very rude...

lou33 · 27/03/2004 12:01

I enjoyed Identity.

May I add another? Bionicle: Mask of Light. Watched it with kids this morning. A film about Lego. Of course it may have improved towards the end but I wouldn't know as I was asleep.

Angeliz · 27/03/2004 14:41
