I have only seen a bit of 1 advert for this film - I didn't realise it was actually on at the pictures. It looked quite good - how old is your dd?

Polgara2 · 12/08/2006 21:08

How scary is it please? My dd2 (just 6) wants to go but she does get frightened easily.

Dd is almost five, parts of ot are quite scary, it is a PG not a U but it is softened by the fact it is animated. DD was scared but in an enjoyable way, funny and entertaining for adults as well

my ds wants to see this film but he had nightmares after watching scooby doo so not sure whether to take him

my mother in law took ds age8 and dd age 5 yesterday and they loved it !

I have heard of a fair few 5 and 6 year olds being terrified by this film so I'm not taking my two (who even find some scenes in Noddy frightening!)

Polgara2 · 30/08/2006 23:10

Hmmm just to say both my clearly over-sensitive little cherubs (6 and 9!) didn't like it - they were scared and both said they wished we hadn't gone . DD1 said not to mention it again and neither of them have!!! Have to admit it was more scary than I thought it would be.

Saw this yesterday with 2 9 yr olds and a 4 yr old. Not too scary imo and not bad at all. Much better than Cars, not quite as good as Over The Hedge but fun. Would recommend.
