we might order it today but I'm not convinced, so is there anyone who loved it or hated it?

We thought it was quite good, I wouldn't buy it personally but it was OK to watch for an evening. Although found SJP's acting to be awful.

Thanks MrsSpoon, might give it a miss then (I always pick duds).

One of the best films I've seen in ages was Keeping Mum with Rowan Atkinson. It was quite black, suited my sense of humour.

We ended up seeing it MrsSpoon and loved it. It is very good and quite unusual.

Which one saadia? The Family Stone or Keeping Mum?

I saw the family stone on a flight from US - UK, and enjoyed it very much. Not much intellectual stimulation obviously, but still enjoyable.

oh yes I should have said MrsSpoon - The Family Stone. I really like Diane Keaton (she has aged well).

I would agree Diane Keating was good and SJP made me squirm, which I think was the intention. Glad you enjoyed it!

Thanks MrsSpoon - yes SJP had some funny moments. I thought it was a pretty nice depiction of family life.

its better than picking your toenails - but wasn't inane girly enough or anything else of anything else in any genre to be of any use - i mean if your going to get something brainnumbingly numb and pink for express cover yourself in the quilt whilst it rains outside or you have broken heart r you need to eat chocolate purposes - then this doesnt cut it. - imo!

Did you not like it then Custardo ?
