took DD (4) to see this film on Sunday.
It is great, although the bear was a little scary.

did it scare you or DD?

dd loved this film - highlights some good issues too

Can anyone tell me if its a long film please? Really want to go but dd2 is 3.5 and has not been to cinema before. Not sure if she is too young to sit throught it?

tissy · 27/07/2006 10:16

not too long, about an hour and a half, maybe. A three yr old should be fine, but make sure she has a pee just before the film starts and sit on the end of a row just incase you have to make a hasty exit!

Dd(4) enjoyed it, wasn't too bothered by the bear. I didn't think it was as good as other Dreamworks films, though.

Thanks for the quick reply. There is a showing at 11:30 this morning so I may well take them. Nothing ventured and all that!

I took DCs on Tuesday, including DD (2.8) who's never been to the cinema before and it was great. It was about the right length - DD had just started getting fed up with sitting down, and was swopping seats (but still watching the film) when it was nearing the end. Didn't need to do any toilet runs either (did make them go before we went in though)

None of mine were scared of the bear, but DD did keep growling at people for the rest of the day DSs enjoyed it too (8 and 6)

Thanks again, i'm off! Wish me luck!
