Is the Croods suitable for a 4.9 year old?

I've seen the trailer only. Not sure whether to go to Croods or Finding Nemo 3D. She has never seen a 3D film before and really has very little experience of the cinema. Is a 3D film too much at this age? Thanks

I took one of my ds's who is 6 to see it. I thought it was really quite scary in places without much to balance it out. I would not recommend it. Although my ds does tend to get quite scared at films but I throught the chasing and danger was a bit relentless. And the story around it not engaging at all.

I took my 3 and 5 year olds, they loved it!

My (just) 5 yo was fine with the 2D version.

Thanks, I think I'll leave it on balance. It may be over stimulating and I don't want that as I will be away for 2 days with DD in a strange place so maybe the cinema is not a great idea. I wish Nemo was being shown in 2D again. How did your DC cope with the 3D experience or had they been before?
