Is it any good? Kids age range 5-11. Dh has to work this Sunday so to take our minds off him not being around, I thought I would treat them to the cinema.

Guff. Absolute and total rubbish. What David Tennant was thinking of wasting his time with that, I have no idea.

Implausible plot, full of holes, hammy acting (Mr Poppy is not the British Jack Black), tedious to the point of gouging out one's own eyes.

As the woman in front of us said ten minutes in, "This is a load of shite."

I wish I had seen this before I wasted £25 taking my lot to see it. One of the worst films I have ever seen. Even the kids only laughed a couple of times.
