I thought it wasn't as good as the second one. But I liked it. I liked Anne Hathaway, and particularly the touch with the night vision goggles becoming "ears"

ceeveebee that's good to hear. I bet his washing machine leaked all over the kitchen floor today too. They're just normal people, just like us, aren't they? Aren't they? Ha ha ha ha ha ha (hysterical laughter). Oh dear.

To return to the film, I did think it really lagged in the middle and could have been any action movie with police investigating and doing endless expository dialogue. Doesn't really live up to the hellish nightmare that was the second movie, where I felt that gruesome chaos was properly unleashed. This was more procedural, and the twist at the end meant there was no big pay off, it was just a kind of diversion and then a damp squib. Also, no offence to your neighbour, as there were other elements that obviously more than made up for this, but Bane's voice totally reminded me of Matt Berry in 'The IT Crowd'.
