I haven't made up my mind yet whether I'm going to pay for subscription after the trial is over (a lot of the films I search for come up as unavailable, so I don't know if it's worth it) so I'm making the most of it while it's free! I'm looking for recommendations of what to watch next. So far I have seen:
Mysterious Skin - upsetting but amazing film that has really stayed with me.
Summer of Sam - watchable but not great.
The Wave - quite interesting.
Kinky Boots - good fun.
Drive - very good.
The Triplets of Belleville - didn't enjoy it as much as I thought I would.
Starter for 10 - it was alright for a rom-com.
Pizza - a bit weird but watchable.
Asylum (2008) - alright but not really my thing.
So, based on what I've watched so far, can any film fanatics suggest what I could watch next? I've got The Usual Suspects on my list because it seems like something everyone has seen - tried to look for Pulp Fiction too, but it's not on Netflix.
I am pretty varied in the types of film I like. There are just two words that really put me off: "wacky" (I don't like overly silly slapstick comedy) and "heartwarming" (I apparently have a heart of stone - anything with this description is almost guaranteed to nauseate and bore me).
