Footloose Remake

I just watched this expecting it to be a poor version of the original and surprised myself by really enjoying it! I give it a solid 8! Mainly, admittedly, because it is incredibly close to the first one but without the annoying Lori Singer. I like the fact that they have respected all the good parts of number 1 but just enhanced the dancing and music.

Got goosebumps in all the same places.

Watched it last night and really enjoyed it. I personally didn't think it was as good as the original. The lead character was just a bit too cheesy for me.

Kevin Bacon was just right for the role. A bit edgy and looked like he would cause a rumpus.

Yes agreed KB was a better Ren.

Loved the modern twists though, like the iPod in the car and the school bus racing, and the rap music.
