Is 'The Pirates! in an adventure with Scientists' okay for a 2.5 & 5 year old?

I have 2 girls. They love stuff like Jungle Book, Beauty and the Beast, Toy Story, Ice Age etc. I can't tell whether The Pirates! is going to be too complex/scary or not?

Any advice?
Thanks!

I took my 5.5 and 3.5 and they loved it. It's by Aardman so it's got a bit of a Wallace and Gromit vibe going on - by that I mean there's lots to look at for the littlest one, a simple story to follow for the older one and there are some jokes in there for the mums and dads too. We all loved it.

Okay that sounds good Piffpaffpoff - something for everyone. Thanks!

I took DS , nearly four, and he liked it, but got bored about halfway through - its quite wordy, and a lot of the jokes are for the adults. I was really enjoying it though.

we took DD 4.10yrs at the time and she loved it!

she's a very wordy/literal thinker (ASD) and loved the word play

we're planning to buy it on dvd too

Took my 7 and 10 yo, who both lived it. However, I left the 3.6 yo at home as I think he would have got bored. So, I'm not sure how your 2.5 yo would be.

I took my 5 year old thinking it might be a bit scary. Not at all but she did get bored and we left before it finished!
