Dp, Bf and I went to see this last night and quite a few people left!

We all really enjoyed it but I can see why they left, if you go expecting a 'Blockbuster' type movie, you will be sorely disappointed.

Very good performances all round, some bits very gruesome and bloodthirsty but sections of it really gave you things to think about.

DH and I saw it this afternoon. There were only about 10 people in the screening (no one left though). I didn't really want to see it but I'm glad i did. The performances were excellent and it was very interesting and as the OP said it really gave you things to think about. It is very, very gruesome and there were several points where my heart was in my throat.

Also, would it make me seem terribly shallow if I said that another reason to see it would be the lovely Eric Bana AND Daniel Craig in one movie?

Saw it yesterday - really made me think - violence breeds violence but can see ho israelis thought they had to do something after athletes murdered - nice touch at the end including twin towers in the skyline - and may I join the shallow club - exactly how gorgeous is eric bana - seroius swoon!
