Albert Nobbs - anyone seen it yet?

Really rather good. It has been pointed out that Glenn Close does look a bit like Robin Williams at times, but she's excellent. The pace is slow, and not in a bad way, no screaming drama, though it still had me in agonies of speculation about how it would end.
Janet McTeer steals every scene she's in.

There's a unintentionally very "Little Britain" moment in the film which I'll leave for you to spot and chortle over.

Just seen it this afternoon - thought it was excellent, beautifully acted. Came out feeling quite sad though. I agree with you about Janet McTeer - very good performance. Well worth seeing.

I have to admit I wasn't expecting it to be as good as it was. All actors were superb and the ending was so sad yet believable. Definitely recommend it.

I thought it was terrific, and luckily I didn't know about Janet McAteer's role, so that took me completely by surprise.
