I've a 2 and 3 yr old and have never really celebrated Christmas but would now like to start this tradition as kids are mixed race. I've been looking at amazon for introduction to all the carols but only seem to get the movies. Any suggestions for good classics? They are a bit too young (no patience) for some of the disney movies.

The Snowman is a winner for young children. Short and excellent.

The father christmas movie - muppets Christmas carol

If you want the christmassy songs I'd say try your local market - we got a cd with my sons name in it, although we got it from a market in Liverpool and let's just say, its very scouse! Lovely though and he thinks its brill!

the muppet christmas carol has some good reviews.

Thanks. Will try the Muppet and download some songs perhaps. I'm quite surprised that there aren't many animated/cartoon 'nursery rhyme' style dvds.
Also got Frosty but they are semi-interested only.
