Has anyone seen Red Ridinghood? Advice needed over it please

Basically DD who is 11 has literally just rang me as she is having a sleepover with a new friend from senior sch and asked if she could watch a "12" film, I said of course you can - she will be 12 in 6mths time. I then asked out of interest what film it was and she said Red Ridinghood, I have googled and wished I hadnt! Not sure DD will like the film.

Is it really scary???

Will it give her nightmares??

Am I over reacting? - DH is away so I cant ask him!

I saw the trailer of it a while ago. Didn't look too scary but I'm talking as a 32 year old not 12 year old. There were a few raunchy scenes though. Perhaps you could have a look at the trailer on IMDB.

I've seen it, as has DD (10).

Neither of us found it scary. Although neither of us watched it properly as it was incredibly boring. It is directed by the Twilight director and it has that Twilight nothing happens feel about it.
