I'm dying to see this. Not many cinemas showing it in my neck of the woods though so I may have to wait for DVD.

Oooooh....just found a late showing at my local cinema on Sunday! DP looks less than thrilled at being dragged along. But as I've already made him attend an actual grand prix this year against his will, I'm sure he can sleep through manage a film.

V. excited!

It is very good. Have you heard the interviews about how they deliberately structured it like a classic 3-act Hollywood film (this is where you talk about dreams this is where the villain is introduced - this is where the setback occurs)?

It works very well - a documentary without any talking heads.

DH took DS(8) to see it. He is F1 obsessed and thought it was the best film ever. He said it he felt very emotional at the end, but he was aware what the ending was. They both thought it was great and would highly recommend it.

The film is also great if you are not into F1.

It was heartbreaking watching Ratzenburger's death and seeing Senna not wanting to race and not being comfortable with the car knowing what was going to happen.
It also put accoss what a humble bloke he was.

The film also showed how corrupt F1 was in the early 90's.

My son's are 11 and 15 and they enjoyed it as well.
