Has anyone seen Water for Elephants yet? Do any elephants die?

I can't watch films with Lelliephants dying - still haven't got over the documentary BBC1 did when an elephant had a still birth and the entire tribe stood round mourning it for 24 hours

No dying elephants. Although there are elephants being beaten, which isn't nice to watch.

One dead horse only.

No elephants die but it is quite harrowing from an animal cruelty point of view - in the way it shows how bad practices were back then rather than the film approving of animal cruelty iyswim.
