I know I'm a big kid, but I like em!!!!

Found us a babysitter (after a LOT of trying), and now we're all set for our trip to see HP

Flame, did you book online? We're dying to see the film!

noddyholder · 09/11/2005 09:00

Oh no thats my 40th I am not spending it watching HP!

flamesparrow · 09/11/2005 09:05

Can think of no better way to spend it

Nope, booked over the phone... online you could only book from the Sunday, not the Friday.

Is anyone planning on taking their children to see it? Ds (8) really wants to go, and I am umming and ahhing, apparantly it's a lot more scary than the last ones - however, he did watch the last series of Doctor Who (which is classed as 12) and was fine. Just can't make my mind up. In a write up I read they asked a 4-year old girl what she thought of it and she really liked it. Oh shut up Bomper, you're rambling again

Am so looking forward to seeing the new harry potter!!

wessexgirl · 11/11/2005 14:20

I'm not that bothered about Harry Potter but...Alan Rickman AND Jarvis Cocker....(swoons).

I might just have to give it a whirl .

Lonelymum · 11/11/2005 14:36

I haven't been bothered in the past, but having read all the HPs in the summer, I am now an addicted fan. Ds1 (9) has also read the books and should be up for it but ds2 (7) even found the second film too scary and still won't watch it so I don't think we will be seeing it until it comes out on DVD.

Booked our tickets for saturday 2.30pm!!! DD (6) is HUGE fan, she read all the books over the summer (well, not all yet, she is on the 5th one now), has seen the other three on dvd and loves them too. I did wonder whether she should go but she too watched Dr Who and wasn't scared so I thought we'd try.... (fingers crossed!)
I can't wait!!! And I used to think what's all the fuss about HP....

I'm desperate to see Harry Potter but my dh doesn't get back for 2 weeks. Has anyone heard of the Odeon doing a mother and baby thing? I'm sure someone mentioned it to me before.

Blandmum · 17/11/2005 15:04

Booked for sunday afternoon

Can't wait!
