Let Me In

It's a US response to the novel 'Let the Right One in", filmed in Sweden under the same name. And it's very good. It's plainly aimed at the US market who can't be arsed reading subtitles, but is true to the feel of the novel, very bleak, mostly understated.

One significant scene from the first film is left out, possibly for certification reasons.

Kodi Smit-McPhee is wonderful.

I found that not much actually happened in Let The Right One In.

I don't understand why they've remade it. I haven't seen it but I liked the book a lot, except the stupid OTT ending.

let the right one in is a perfect film, am depressed they remade it for the thick american marker :(

southeastastralbeing · 16/10/2010 21:33

what scene is left out?

TrillianSlasher · 16/10/2010 21:37

Not wanting to give a spoiler, I imagine you don't get to see the results of the surgery.

Spot on, Trillian.

Southeastasra; I was peeved, too, but the re-make is good in its own right.
