Can you suggest a film for 12 year old girls to watch please? My mind's gone blank

I'm a big fan of Studio Ghibli. They are heart-stoppingly gorgeous and hint on some really big grown up themes while still being a child friendly romp! Princess Mono is all about the conflict between man and nature, and Spirited Away is just fantastical and such an exciting story. sort of about finding yourself I suppose, although that's a very simplistic explanation

Good messages in it if they watch to end. Never dumb down for a boy. Don't pretend to be something yyou're not, just be yourself and the right friends will come to you. Try to see the best in people. That's the journey that kaydey was on. That's what I took from the film anyway! my dd enjoyed it too.

pitch perfect excellent too. few references to sex but, nothing they won't have heard before. :-/

Josie and the pussycats

Think of the oldies...Indiana Jones, Back to the Future, James Bond ones, Bourne ones good but some may think a bit gratuitous, almost anything with Steve Martin in, Police Academy.
Or the classic Jane Austen ones if they like that kind of thing.
Also Flicka, Fly Away Home, Racing Stripes, Hotel for Dogs, Homeward Bound if they like animal ones.
