Films to watch

I've joined Love Film and don't know any films to out on my list. Can anyone recommend some good ones. I like all sorts but not really into arty or slightly off the wall films, didn't enjoy The Darjeeling Express for example. Watched Sherlock Holmes last night and thought it was brill. :)

Anyone got any film recommendations?

I was going to start a similar tread, having got 3 lone evenings coming up.
Last night I watched An Education which I loved.
Someone must be able to recommend some good stuff!

You'd expect someone to come up with some recommendations but nobody seems to have any!!! Got 'Milk' to watch this weekend, will let you know if it's any good. Saw 'Duplicity' last weekend which was rubbish.

Biutiful with Javier Bardem is my film for the year so far so if that is on DVD watch it.

I like nearly everything with Gael Garcia Bernal in it, especially Motorcycle Diaries about Che Gurvara and also the King. (I'm with Lucy was a bit crap though!)

Tamara Drew is funny and worth a watch.

Jar City is a good Icelandic drama.

Watch any of Pedro Almodova films. They are great.
