My apologies if this isn't the right part of MN for this, but I couldn't quite find any area that seemed to fit and this was the closest. If that's a problem or it needs to be moved, please do report it so it can be put where it belongs.

The purpose of this thread is, primarily, to draw attention to the stunningly brutal, visceral work of the enlightened Sofia Isella and, especially, her performance of "The Doll People". The other purpose is to discuss the potential benefits of sharing this work and works like this with the men in our lives.

I have no partner, but I've introduced a number of my male friends to this and been (pleasantly) surprised by their reactions, their discomfort, and their desire to reassure themselves of the importance of feminism.

But I'm equally interested in your responses. What do you think of Sofia's work?

You can find the piece in question on .

I'd never heard of her but thanks for the link, she seems very interesting and I'll follow her further

Yes she is great isn't she. I find it so reassuring that there are 20 year olds out there who seem to really get it.
I noticed her when Taylor Swift had her as a supporting act on the Eras tour. Apparently another of her songs, Everybody Supports
Women, is about TS. It too is a great song.
