I know this was posted a little while ago, but how are you feeling now?

Do you have a social group online local that can recommend groups? Where I am we have a lot of local things like walking, etc. It can be hard to find but I've found them. There are a lot of apps now too. You can even use dating apps but set it to friends its worked for me a few times.
