We’re working to get a lesbian safeguarding case raised in Parliament.

Southwark Council refused our lawful single-sex space for lesbians. The EHRC is now investigating.

We need women who:
Live in one of the constituencies below

1. Would’ve used a female-only venue like this

1. Are willing to send one short MP email (we’ll write it)

That’s it. No publicity. No funding. Just one woman to unlock pressure.

Rosie Duffield already supports us — she just needs a local constituent to contact her so she can raise it in Parliament.

What was the reasoning behind the refusal to grant permission?

And when You say single sex

do you mean you’d have barred entry to the other sex?

That’s what single sex means. No entry to the other sex, in this case men

I can write to Neil Coyle, but you really need to provide more background first.

I would like to support the existence of a female-only venue but I don't understand why MPs for areas entirely unrelated to Southwark are being targeted here? I do know someone who lives in Southwark who I think is cautiously GC.

How do we know Southwark refused permission because of this issue and not another very valid reason?
