File on 4 n the case if a woman who's husband had admitted to drugging and raping her.

  • he'd been gaslighting her for years by telling her his violence and abuse was because he was ill
  • he'd already been suffocating her and blamed "sex somnia" for attacking her in her sleep. He got referred to a sleep clinic. She was told to wear trousers in bed.
  • he seems to have confessed this to Narcotics Anonymous before admitting it to her but they didn't report it.
  • drug attacks are not recognised or recorded as part of the main offence so the true scale of this is not known in the UK. "A hidden crime within a hidden crime"

This is very common in domestic abuse relationships; men sexually assaulting unconscious partners. You see it here all the time and these rapists inevitably say they don't know what they're doing.
