Where to find female only running clubs?

Does anybody know where to find female only running clubs? I checked meetup.com and rungroop.com but nothing is in my area. I would like to find female running groups near me and I'm in a rural area.

Can you contact a local running group and ask if they run female-only sessions? And if not, whether they can set some up?

sounds obvious but have you tried just googling 'women run city/female runners city' or variant?

I tried with the two cities closest to me and several clubs came up straight away
Could also try the same on FB, lots of groups use that to organise.

Could ask at your closest gyms if they know of any?
