Seeking out health care professionals (particularly SLTs) wanting to join me in fightback back against institutional capturet

I haven't been on MN in over 15 years, but it was a very big and important part of my life at one time. I'm back as I am told there are many MNers who, like me, are sickened by DEI nonsense. I'm a speech and language therapist. I'll say more but for now, am testing the waters...

I came back to Mumsnet last year trying to find out why men were being put in women's prisons. Hope you find some fellow language therapists to discuss it with. Is it within the NHS?

I'm a SLT.
I work with autistic children for a social enterprise. I have to be very careful at work about what I say or do around the topic of "gender".

Former HCP, working in a corporate NHS role now. Also have to be very careful what I say at work, but refuse to use pronouns on my email signature. Find a lot of DEI stuff to be nonsense and a waste of time

Former mental health nurse here.
I left the NHS for a number of reasons, but some of those were my discomfort that men were being placed on female only wards- being expected/forced to lie to patients and seeing traumatised children encouraged to transition.
I have over the last few years felt like I was losing my mind as it seemed everywhere I looked (friends, legacy/social media, government) were TWAW!! and I was starting to wonder if I was indeed a bigoted dinosaur and missing something. As such I am so happy to have discovered FWR on Mumsnet

I'm a midwife (who wishes she had become a SLT or an OT instead 😅) Recently moved from a Trust that was knee deep in birthing people, rainbow lanyards and chestfeeding to one where most of my colleagues just roll their eyes at the handful of TWAW outliers. It's been refreshing, to say the least.

Don't be alarmed if someone comes along to tell you that you are on the wrong feminist board and you have to move this to the other feminist board (aka the naughty corner!).
A couple of years ago there was a hoo ha about what should be allowed to be discussed in the feminism board and all the women who didn't subscribe to gender ideology were told to go to a separate corner and chat amongst themselves.
Go and have a read over there OP. It is an excellent archive and source of information.

Good to see this OP. As Mops has suggested, there's a lot of expertise on the other board. Are you aware of SEEN? There's a growing body of people in numerous professions starting SEEN networks to promote safeguarding and sex realism

As well as SEEN posted above, there is CAN-SG https://can-sg.org/ which has clinicians of all stripes. You are Not Alone!
