Just need to rant

Sorry about this but a major rant incoming. I'm a senior leader in a male dominated profession. Today I have seen the most outrageous behaviour from people (ie men) with respect to their female colleagues.

I'm loathed to put too much detail here otherwise it will end up in the DM.

Needless to say, when I tackled it head on I was told that it was not bad behaviour, and I was seeing things that weren't there. I was the only woman in the meeting.

My blood is boiling and it makes me even more determined to call this shit out from the minor stuff to the big stuff.

So, what would be useful is as many suggestions as I can get for tackling these situations. I'd like a wide range of responses so I don't have to repeat any.

Gosh must be a day for this at work (see my post as well). I would write it down and see what policies/ values etc it contravenes so you can evidence it higher if you need to. They are shits.

Unfortunately I'm about as high up as it gets, so looks like I'm fighting this one alone.

Keeping a record would be useful for your own memory as well as evidence. The only other thing I can think of is finding a networking group of women in your industry. It's hard to fight misogyny on your own. Sympathies op.
