I'm (slightly) glad Beetle is enjoying herself, but fear that even Bluestocking magic isn't going to prevent one hell of a hangover when the 'meds' wear off.

I've checked half the maze and there's no sign of her. It's freezing out there. I've just come to warm up and I'll go back out.

Left a bit, right a bit... Next left..getting warmer.

I should probably go out into the freezing cold to look for Boiled, but it's so cosy and I'd have to wake Sparticat to get him to move. I'll just leave it one more minu.....zzzzzzzzzz

You would not believe how many attempts it took to persuade the AI to produce this...

I think Boily is being a bit naughty. It's a game. She wants us all to chase her through the maze and get hot and bothered. Then we'll give up the chase, return despondent to The Bluestocking to find her curled up in front of the fire, wrapped in cosy blankets, waited on by the gerbils and CHOMPING on Tunnocks Tea Cakes, giggling all the while.

I really must stop eating the cake supplied by the drug dealer down the road...

I'm having weird dolphin and psychedelic trees flashbacks and somehow I'm stuck deep in the maze convinced I'm a rubicks cube.

It's all very discombobulating.

But it's just so moorish!

Just send some red sparks into the air, stick where you are, and we'll send the gerbils to rescue you from the maze, @Boiledbeetle.

I know! Just an idle thought...

She could always send up a distress tribble.

@lcakethereforeIam I only made one tribble flash red and suddenly there was hundreds of red flashing tribbles.

That will be me as soon as the search and rescue gerbils turn up and help me back to the pub!

There's the solution to all those scared pets on Nov 5 and New Year's Eve - replace fireworks by exploding tribbles.

I'm a bit worried about a rain of squishy bits. Or flaming furry bits.

First day back at crafting today, after a break extended by last week's snow. Last meeting in December was mostly an extended buffet lunch of stuff we'd all brought in. My non-food contribution was a couple of strings of battery fairy lights, some battery-powered candles and some holly with berries to decorate the tables. I was amused to overhear comments indicating that I have now been designated 'artistic'. Not the worst label to attract.

But fear I have forgotten how to make anything. Also must go and see if I can find my bag of textile-y things.

Same here, @DeanElderberry - I am up early to head off to knitting group. We did a buffet, for our last meeting too - no fairy lights, though - I shall try to remember to take some next Christmas!

Has anyone managed to rescue @Boiledbeetle yet?
