A few years ago there was a really interesting thought experiment (aimed at men really) to encourage them to imagine how women feel.

There are two types of men, normal men, and ultra men who look just like normal men but are strong, violent and often sexually violent. You don't know whether the person you're talking to is a normal man or an ultra man and they could attack you at any time....

Can anyone give me the link to it? I've been looking for it for ages and can't find it via Google or Mumsnet searches!

I've never heard of the term Ultra man. Is this actually a thing ? Men are men. Some make the decision to commit violence against women and girls.

I can’t help, OP, I’m afraid as I’ve not heard of it, but it sounds like a really interesting way to get men to empathise with women.

Thanks all, yes it is just a thought experiment, I think the premise is 'imagine there is a world where there are no women, and just two types of men. You're a normal man, perfectly nice, but the other type are this aggressive and super strong type of men...

I will keep hoping someone on MN will have the link and if I ever find it I will post it here as it really was v interesting.
