Seb Coe has given an interview in his bid to be the International Olympic Committee President. Really clear responses in the topic of women in sport.

From the article, I don’t think that I have ever seen it started so clearly.

‘’The issue became a major story at the Paris Olympics boxing tournament with Algeria’s Imane Khelif and Taiwan’s Lin Yu-ting both winning gold medals after being banned from the 2023 world championships. The International Boxing Association (IBA), which ran the event, said it had tested both fighters and their “DNA was that of a male consisting of XY chromosomes”.’’

Sean Ingle in the Guardian has always been really good in his sports journalism on this topic. I think he had gone under the radar there, but he definitely gets it.

Obviously this is a good thing, given the dangers to women amongst other things. What is depressing is how no one's turned against him. It's just women who speak out about this who get threatened.
