Apologies for the DM link. The others I found were behind paywalls.

I very much hope the female colleague was a mumsnetter 👏👏👏

Hahaha what a pillock

Fromage · 29/04/2024 12:43

Never been happier to read something from the daily fail.

She called him a PITA, under her breath (I admire her restraint.)

I'm surprised he didn't explain to her what an arse was.

RB68 · 29/04/2024 12:43

God sound like they had all had enough of his offcious blather

Imagine the poor woman being subjected to the claim against her though!

Good on the male judge!

FiftynFooked · 29/04/2024 12:59

I think the claim was one of constructive dismissal and sex discrimination against the museum. Can't see whether he included his colleague as a respondent.

I particularly like, "Mr McMurray's female colleagues in the education team 'had been irritated by what they had regarded as the claimant's officious and overbearing manner and in particular by...'classroom tips' that he had produced some days earlier, unrequested, to advise them how to conduct their duties,' the judge said."

Wouldn't you love to get your hands on those tips?!

How satisfying. 🤣

However, two of the other links looked like they might cause some 😡 on here.

Cleaner loses sex discrimination case after claiming male colleague deliberately left 'explosion of excrement' in disabled toilet for her to clean 😳

Trans woman wins £25,000 in UK's first sex discrimination tribunal over 'deadnaming'

Oh dear. One step forwards, two steps back 🤷‍♀️

And this twerp is an ex teacher! I pity any girls he taught.

Superlambaanana · 30/04/2024 06:46

Couple of observations... he clearly is a dishonest liar who, when challenged in a very low key way (calling him a PITA in a muttered tone) decided to 'show her' by exaggerating what she said up into a long, loud rant. Smacks very much of 'how dare a woman challenge me!'

He was diagnosed as ASD. This is going to annoy some MN's, but there's a tendency on here to dismiss ASD people's behaviour as 'they can't help it, they have ASD'. This is why it shouldn't be dismissed. The reasons why people do annoying, bullying, cruel and criminal things is complex, and we should have compassion. But people shouldn't be let off the hook. All assholes ever all had some kind of MH problem. This one is no different. He's still an a-hole and needs to be taught decisively that it won't be tolerated by others.

And finally, Jesus God the DM editorial is shocking. The same point make over and over throughout the article. Then a little more info. Then another headline point repeated with a little more info. And the clickbait ads in between- who ever clicks on that stuff?!! I am so tired of having to scroll through drivel to get to the key information in articles and recipes these days. Never mind having to scroll through dozens of ads for Temu and Shein to get to something decent on google. The internet is awash with effluent and needs a deep clean!!

FiftynFooked · 30/04/2024 06:53

Completely agree with you about online articles. I tried to read something on my local paper's site and it was literally unreadable. So many pop ups and those ads that you have to scroll through to get past. I get that they need to make money but surely it's counterproductive when the reader can't read their content!!

Although with the DM that may not be a bad thing 😏
