She's a magnificent woman and I'm pretty sure she'll see off the police if they're foolish enough to be that stupid.

I do worry about her personal safety, though. The nutters I assume will report her, not to mention those that have already threatened her, may be tempted to try something.

I'm sorry. It's the hyper-vigilant victim-in-recovery in me that won't let me sleep at night, jumps at everything, sits with her back to the wall talking.

The old me who wasn't so careful with personal safety made me that way.

And the police have said that they are not pressing charges - she has protected all of us as they cannot now enforce this law as the TRAs would have liked. She is wonderful.

Love JKR. She’s basically rendered this law unworkable. Wonderful woman.

The minute I read what JKR had to say I thought 'it's been in force for ONE DAY and already she's made it unworkable.'

IF JKR had done nothing else in her life (and FTR I've never read HP nor seen the films) this would ensure her being known and celebrated by anyone who cares about women and their rights.
